Irrigation goes back to when people started to farm. It was a REVOLUTION!! Irrigation was very valuable in the past. People were able to grow there own food and they didn't have to go and hunt for it. They didn't have to be nomads anymore. IT WAS GREAT! Of course, as society got better, people realized that this was pretty bad for the environment.
